These are the new motherboards on this on u can install cfw normaly

TA-088 V2
This motherboard has a few changes u cant intall cfw. dc5 or lower will not work u will need dc6 to install cfw

TA-088 V3
This is the most dangerous because it is impossible to put cfw because sony has made is so it only boots from their ipl.

dude who do u know what motherboard you have?

u just look at the firmware u have when u first get the psp. the TA-088 V1 V2 come with 3.90 and V3 has 4.01

Wht if i dont remember wht version it was when i got it is ther a way to tell wht it is

not unless u take out the motherboard which will void you warranty
